Chancellor of the Exchequer Denis Healey

Healey is best known for his bushy eyebrows and avuncular manner, but he was also one of the most influential politicians in modern British history. He served as chancellor from 1974-79 before being appointed Secretary at State Defense under Prime Minister Harold Wilson from 1964 - 1970.
A member since 1952 with representation on both sides due primarily because it was seen as safe seat during this time period where Labour needed majority more than anyone else did; Denis Winston Heath fulfilled many roles including serving beneath Tony Blair who knew him well personally remembering how hardworking yet creative public speaker could be when talking about issues close personal interest like defense.

 

About Wickwar

Founded in 1773 , by Joseph & William Wickwar , Wickwar started as a luxury paper mill outside Newbury . In 1786 HMSO was founded and Joseph Wickwar won the contract to supply paper to Parliament .

In 1788 Joseph partnered with Joseph Bramah to produce luxury Despatch boxes for Royalty & Government and went on to produce in excess of 5,000 boxes and became the premier supplier of the Iconic red box .

The simple design of the famous Gladstone Box continues today & Wickwar manufacturers around 100 boxes per year using traditional skills & tools from its workshop in London .
